Organizing Study Groups

Looking for a way to find support and camaraderie exploring specific weave structures, share topic-specific information and research, explore group weaving travel opportunities, learn weaving software, or flex your design muscle? Forming a Study Group may be the answer to exploring those ideas – and much more.

Marty Reid will share information she gained from participating in a session on Study Groups during the online Handweavers Guild of America (HGA) Guild Development Conference in January of 2025.

Marty plans to have representatives from one or more other Guilds on hand to talk to us via Zoom about how they use study groups. The presentation will include time to discuss how we might want to organize study groups in our Guild and possible topics of interest.
