Even though wedge weave was practiced by the Navajo in the late 1880’s, it virtually disappeared for a century. Today, wherever you find an exhibition of weaving, wedge weave is almost always represented. How did this happen? Connie Lippert will share her theories. She will also describe the wedge weave technique through images of her work and others practicing wedge weave.
