Become a Member
Join the Guild to support the organization and to enjoy the benefits of meeting and learning with a group of active weavers.
Vermont Weavers Guild members:
— Access an outstanding library to browse the shelves or search our online catalog, view sample notebooks and borrow books, magazines and DVDs.
— Obtain reduced fees and receive priority registration for our workshops.
— Participate in study groups, weaving challenges and Guild shows.
— Participate in the Guild Member Forum where members share information about the Guild and other weaving-related topics.
— Rent a loom or other weaving equipment.
— Meet others with similar interests and looms.
— Register early for classes at the New England Weavers Seminar.
When becoming a member, you have the option to join as a Contributor or Sustainer — this extra amount helps to support the Guild. Look for this option on our Membership Registration form.
Make a Financial Donation
Vermont Weavers Guild dues cover the costs of our library, presentations on meeting days and rent at the White River Craft Center. For all other services, we rely on the generous donations of our supporters. Many donations are tax-deductible; be sure to discuss with your tax or financial advisor.

Other ways to donate:
— Direct a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA. Check with your tax or financial advisor on how to make this type of donation.

— Include the Vermont Weavers Guild in your will or estate plan.

Donate Items: If you have a loom or other equipment, books or supplies you wish to donate, please Contact the Guild to discuss this before you donate items. All donations must be in good condition and become the property of the Guild. Items not retained by the Guild may be sold, donated or discarded.
Volunteer with the Guild:
— Join a committee or take on a leadership position (members only).
— Share your skills or knowledge about weaving and related fiber arts by giving a presentation or teaching a workshop.
— Join us when we demonstrate weaving at public events, such as the Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival.
— Donate your handwoven items to a Guild auction or sale.
— Share your handwoven textiles in the biennial Guild Show or other Guild exhibits (members only).
— Help us design and set up exhibits and displays.
— Lend us your technical skills and talents: Graphic design? Finance? Strategic planning? Development? Grant-writing? Managing archives?
