Explorations in Silk

Displays and presentations will feature member experiences weaving with silk and member collected silk from around the world.

Participants will learn about the various types of silk yarn, where silk is currently raised, silk processing, and will have the opportunity to weave with silk. There will be a presentation about the silk industry in New England.

Join Alison and Layne to share your experiences, ask questions, and experience silk in its many forms .
